Restaurant Suppliers from around North Wales
Suppliers to the Quay Hotel and Spa are a crucial factor in the success of our menus, ensuring excellence of food for our guests dining in The Marina Restaurant.
We pride ourselves on securing as much locally produced ingredients as possible, with one particularly significant meat product,

The high temperatures mean exceptionally quick cooking times which means quicker turn arounds too!
OUR STEAK SUPPLIER FOR The Marina Restaurant
William Glyn Owen is a Caernarfon butcher to the core. The business has been established in the town since 1939, when William’s father, Owen Glyn Owen, opened his doors for the first time.
The butcher provides meat for all kinds of businesses, from hotels and restaurants all over North Wales, tourists and regulars from the town and its surrounding villages. They are members of the Guild of Q Butchers, an association which only admits the best butchers in the UK.
To gain entry into this select group, a prospective Q butcher has to submit the whole business – shop, products, staff, procedures and customer service – to an audit process that can take many months.
All the meat is sourced for the Conwy Valley, All the beef we supply the Quay Hotel and Spa is fully matured for over 28 days to guarantee maximum flavour.
